For example, a body lift using spacers or blocks may be a good option if you want to increase ground clearance without breaking the bank. This will lift your truck’s body above the frame. While this is effective and cost-conscious, the downside can be poor handling and declining ride quality. Also, your truck may be unable to take on extremely rugged terrain. Additionally, you may opt to go with a coilover system. This involves replacing the standard factory springs with longer coils and shocks. It costs more, but you’ll be ready for rough terrain. You’ll notice better control and comfort. Yet another choice is a leveling kit. It’s less expensive because it raises the front height to match the rear axle’s standard factory height.
